Kirk Graff

Postdoctoral research assistant

Kirk Graff is a postdoctoral research associate in the Laboratory for Child Brain Development. Born and raised in Calgary, Canada, Kirk completed a BSc in Natural Science (2011), a BEd in Secondary Science (2013), and a PhD in Neuroscience (2023) at the University of Calgary. During his PhD, he researched functional MRI preprocessing methods, measures of EEG functional connectivity, and individualization of the functional connectome in childhood brain development. He is currently researching precision neuroimaging in highly sampled youth participants and functional brain changes in children whose families are experiencing divorce. Kirk has also spent time as a bat researcher and a high school science teacher
