Kendyll is a Research Assistant at the Laboratory for Child Brain Development at Washington University in St. Louis. They graduated from the University of Michigan in 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English, receiving high distinction from the Honors College for their senior thesis focused on the relationship between PTSD and the Big Five personality traits. Their research interests broadly include the study of trauma and related disorders in childhood, adolescence, and emerging adulthood, with an emphasis on further understanding the neural mechanisms underpinning the development of PTSD. In the future, Kendyll hopes to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology
